I have fallen in love with prayer plants again. I have had many and have not owned one in over 20 years so I totally forgot that their leaves move up and down during the day and night.

This beauty is Maranta leuconeura ‘Kim’. At least some of it is. There is one part of the plant that doesn’t show any variegations and the rest of the plant has them.

Prayer plants prefer bright indirect light and can tolerate low light.

Prayer plants like the soil to remain moist but never let it sit for long periods in soggy soil as this promotes root rot.
